It was a wonderful lunch with my grandma. Great, really courteous service and everyone was nice to special food requests (veganism). You really go with the times, super awesome! Gladly again, keep it up!

The staff is very friendly and attentive. The inn is well catered for guests with dogs. The food is delicious and the portions are ideal. A meal was not quite as warm. The feedback was treated professionally and gratefully. The current regulations have been carefully implemented.

General ambience, uncomfortably rustic - village pub. Narrow, home-style and meat-heavy range of dishes. Just a "vegetarian" dish, in the form of a thick slice of shepherd's cheese with two pieces of baguette. The only highlight - the beetroot carpaccio. Very bad background music. Despite the request, the wait staff did not manage to adjust the music and reduce the volume. Still very friendly staff. We will definitely not come back there.

After about 30 km of cycling in the area we had passed 5 or 6 restaurants, all of which were either completely closed or had just closed this weekend or were not interested in serving us (Schleusenhaus). With little hope we reached Reichenhain, and lo and behold, with an open restaurant and an immediate friendly "Hello". Well, for a beer, we thought, it was already 3 p.m., what else should there be? Wrong thought, there was the complete warm kitchen on offer and the food of our choice tasted excellent. In addition, a friendly service, what more could you want. Another delicious ice cream afterwards and the Sunday was saved.

After an odyssey in the region, we were now really hungry and it was already 4 pm, on a Sunday, we happened upon the "Gasthaus & Pension Eichhörnchen" on the roadside. We just wanted something hearty, despite this time. What we then experienced exceeded our expectations! A very good, others would say fine cuisine awaited us. Even the greeting from the kitchen surprised. Above all, the salt served was a treat! I apologize for what's interesting! It was really a new and very good taste and not to be compared with the "derogatory remark" by Alfred Biolek! Due to the high outside temperatures, we made ourselves comfortable near the counter. So we even had the opportunity to hear how the food was freshly prepared. The knocking of the schnitzel is just one example. Unfortunately, we didn't think of taking photos of our dishes, but the other guests have already made sure of that. The fries served in a mini sieve and some arranged as "missed". Top! Decorated with the artfully arranged balsamic cream from the mini tomato, not to mention The whole plate is an eye's breadth, which was only surpassed by the taste! Of course we don't want to forget the service! She made sure that we felt really comfortable! Thank you and again sorry for the interesting!

Classically but nicely furnished. The goulash soup was delicious and also the cake was great. Unfortunately only one service for 32 persons. That's the only drawback. Otherwise, definitely recommendable.

Small, for the non-locals quickly overlookable village restaurant but offers a good kitchen. Much more than you would expect, at the weekend a reservation seems to make sense if you come with more people. Even some bread with homemade creams is offered.
